Stella is out of this world. A gorgeous and unique spinning wheel. There is nothing on the market like this wheel. Stella is a beautiful wheel that will become a family heirloom for years to come. Her spin is extra smooth and quiet. She has been engineered to be efficient and resplendent at the same time. Stella's flyer is completely one-of-kind.
Stella is made of custom ordered 12 ply premium Russian birch. This wood is clear, solid and lovely. She is custom designed and CNC manufactured with an elegant handcrafted touch. Stella will arrive assembled, less the wheel. The wheel will need to be attached via a little wrench, which is included. You will be up and spinning on this splendid wheel in minutes. The wheel has a spring-clip ball pivot, making attachment and reattachment a breeze.
The flyer is made of the same premium Russian birch, with easy to adjust spring clips to make level winding quick and easy. The flyer shaft is aluminum and very attractive against the birch frame. The orifice of the flyer is 9/16 of an inch in diameter for an easy feed at any angle. The front and rear maidens boast nylon 66 precision bearings, allowing the flyer to turn smoothly with little friction. The wheel itself utilizes two ultra precision bearings for long spin time.
Heavenly Handspinning's bobbins are very large. The bobbin is 3 inches in diameter and has a 6-inch long core and is capable of holding in excess of 8 oz. Each bobbin has nylon 66 oil impregnated bearing so that there is no wear on the flyer shaft. You will receive three combination bobbins. Each bobbin has a ratio of 6:1, 9:1 and 13:1. These large bobbins make plying a breeze. There are not bigger bobbins being made for this price anywhere.
Spin wool roving, alpaca, silk or angora - whatever fiber you choose. Knit and crochet the yarn you have made into something special by spinning whatever you need - from lace to bulky or a combination of both. Vespera is a custom handcrafted electric spinner or electric spinning wheel, that we’ve engineered to be simple and beautiful. Vespera frame is made completely out of hand-selected red oak. Vespera is delivered to you completely assembled; out of the box you’ll be up and spinning in minutes. Vespera is a tabletop model, so just place it on your coffee table, plug in your motor and you are off.

Vespera comes with an electronic foot controller, which allows you to start slowly and add speed as needed or desired. The motor runs off of 110 volt AC. The spinner automatically spins clockwise, but give the drive band a half twist at the motor and now it is running counter clockwise for plying. It is just that easy.
